Letter to NEST+m Students & Families from Mark Berkowitz, Week of February 13, 2017

Dear NEST+m Students & Families,
This is Respect for All Week at NEST+m and throughout the NYC Department of Education.
Thank you to every NEST+m student, teacher, family, the PTA and the PTA Whole Child Committee for your role in fostering our community of kindness, care, inclusivity and collaboration.
This Wednesday February 15th, at 6pm, our February Principal’s Coffee will take the form of an evening meeting in our Auditorium. This meeting will feature mid-year announcements to highlight K-12 successes from our year-to-date,  a forecast of forthcoming events on our late February to June calendar, an opportunity for Q&A. This meeting is open to all K-12 families. Please join us if you are able to.
As you may have heard: last week’s NYC Department of Education School Quality Review was postponed due to the snowstorm. A new date will be shared when it is confirmed.
Looking ahead: We hope that you and your family have a wonderful, rest-filled February vacation.
Thank you for your ongoing support and communication.
