Letter to NEST+m Students and Families, Week of March 30, 2020

Dear NEST+m Students and Families,

As we prepare for our 2nd week of Remote Teaching and Learning, we hope that you are finding ways to feel Balanced, Energized, Optimistic & Connected.

Thank you for providing us with feedback about what’s going well for you and opportunities for continued improvement.

Please complete the Remote Learning Feedback Survey so we can hear from you: SEE SURVEY

As communicated last week, our teachers are working to provide the following Instructional Experiences:

  • NEST+m teachers, using Google Classroom, will create both a Week at a Glance and Daily Learning Objectives to guide students’ “asynchronous” learning experiences.
  • NEST+m teachers will provide a clear indication of how and in what ways students will be able to connect with them for “meetings” (K-5) or “office hours” (6-12) through Zoom or other media.
  • NEST+m teachers will clearly articulate what students are expected to create and submit as demonstrations of their weekly learning and engagement.

Thank you for your continued optimism, patience and collaboration!

On behalf of our K-12 teachers and faculty, we are sending best wishes for good health and meaningful learning.

Warmly,

Mark Berkowitz
Principal
